How to launch online TV or radio channel instantly using Muvi Playout

Muvi Playout enables you to launch your very own online TV or radio channel. You can broadcast both on-demand and live content on your channel.

Learn how simple it is to launch your own online TV channel or radio station

Sign Up & Initial Setup

Go to the Muvi Playout Sign Up page and enter the required information, and click on the Next button. Your free trial account will be created and you will be navigated to the CMS portal.

Click on the Purchase Subscription button and make payment using your credit card.

Navigate to Manage Channel and click on the Add Channel button. Enter your channel name and upload a logo.
Manage Content and Channel

Navigate to Manage Content >> Content Library and click on the Add Content button. Enter the relevant information such as name and description and upload the content file.

Navigate to Manage Channel, click on Manage Schedule under action. Click the Add Program button and add the relevant information and select the content and time to broadcast.

Choose whether you want to broadcast the content recurrently or not. For recurrent content, you can schedule for daily or weekly and for a set of period.
Broadcast On Website & Apps

Under Action, click on Embed and copy the embed link and embed it directly on your website and app.

Generate an HLS output URL and use it in any player. Under Action, click on Generate HLS and then click Copy. You can then share it on your website or app.

You can stop the HLS of a channel when no programs are broadcasting in order to save HLS run time costs. To stop, under Action, click on Stop HLS against the respective channel.
